Nick Grace
Washington Managing Editor

Tel: 202.641.0961

Mr Grace founded ClandestineRadio.com in 1996 to track and analyze political and subversive media operations around the world. Serving as the Washington Managing Editor he maintains the site's online database, conducts investigative research, and develops probing analysis of the broadcast outlets and the political context in which they operate.

His analysis of propaganda and psychological warfare include the nature of a London-based pro-al Qaeda radio station, Radio al-Tajdeed, a prediction of the looming importance of Afghanistan in December 2000, the closure of a U.S.-backed opposition radio station against Sudan in October 2000, the identification of "neutral" Turkmenistan as a major U.S. intel asset in 2001, and U.S. covert strategy leading up to and during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.

He is a conservative advocate of psywar for the defense of U.S. national security interests and the promotion of democracy across the world. He has provided consultation for a number of organizations, including the Center for International Private Enterprise, and has delivered presentations on the current trends and strategies of opposition media.

Mr Grace is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and Spanish and has served as guest lecturer of comparative politics at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in Indonesia and frequently appears on Voice of America Indonesian-language television programs. He has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, US News & World Report, and on Fox News, BBC, National Public Radio and NBC's "Today Show."

He studied International Affairs, focusing on Indonesian politics, at the George Washington University and works as a communications and Web consultant.
