Mr Grace founded ClandestineRadio.com
in 1996 to track and analyze political and subversive
media operations around the world. Serving as the Washington
Managing Editor he maintains the site's online database,
conducts investigative research, and develops probing
analysis of the broadcast outlets and the political
context in which they operate.
His analysis of propaganda and psychological warfare
include the nature of a London-based pro-al Qaeda radio
station, Radio al-Tajdeed, a prediction of the looming
importance of Afghanistan in December 2000, the closure
of a U.S.-backed opposition radio station against Sudan
in October 2000, the identification of "neutral"
Turkmenistan as a major U.S. intel asset in 2001, and
U.S. covert strategy leading up to and during Operation
Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
He is a conservative advocate
of psywar for the defense of U.S. national security
interests and the promotion of democracy across the
world. He has provided consultation for a number of
organizations, including the Center for International
Private Enterprise, and has delivered presentations
on the current trends and strategies of opposition media.
Mr Grace is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and Spanish
and has served as guest lecturer of comparative politics
at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in Indonesia and
frequently appears on Voice of America Indonesian-language
television programs. He has appeared in The Wall
Street Journal, The Washington Post, US
News & World Report, and on Fox News, BBC, National
Public Radio and NBC's "Today Show."
He studied International Affairs,
focusing on Indonesian politics, at the George Washington
University and works as a communications and Web consultant.
