With over ten years of experience in communications monitoring and analysis Mr Lafayette is the Managing Editor and host of Global Crisis Watch, the weekly current affairs and media analysis podcast radio program delivered online on GlobalCrisisWatch.com and ClandestineRadio.com.

Serving as the main anchor, Mr Lafayette moderates the program's live-to-tape roundtable discussion with guests across the globe on a wide variety of topics and regional conflicts. His guests have included David Jackson, Director of the Voice of America, Bakhtiar Abdullah, key negotiator for the Free Aceh Movement during the height of peace talks with the Indonesian government, and Jalal El Giathi of the Libyan Sowt al-Amel radio station that suffered from well-publicized attacks by the Qaddafi regime. His interview segments in May 2005 on Radio al-Tajdeed, a UK-based satellite outlet that broadcast to the Middle East in support of al Qaeda, led to public outrage and the closure of the station.
