| London-based group of Zimbabwean exiles who seek to "give listeners unbiased information so they can make informed decisions not just on political issues but on other aspects of their lives." The station claims no affiliation to any political parties or organizations. Founder Gerry Jackson previously worked for the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation where she was fired for taking live telephone calls from listeners during food riots in 1997. In 2000 she launched the country's first independent radio station, Capital FM, however, it was stormed by the police upon Mugabe's orders even before its launch. |
