Information Radio was the main PSYOP radio outlet operated by the U.S. military during Operation Enduring Freedom to liberate Afghanistan from Taliban and al-Qaeda control. Initially broadcast from the airborne EC-130E Commando Solo aircraft it shifted to a land-based SOMS-B facility at the Bagram Air Force base in 2002. |
